Important Notice to Spectators and Competitors

Participant registration is closed

Due to flooding and angry ground bees, we have changed the start location. 

 The Pack Burro Race and Donkey Walk will start at 9AM at 1 Winthrop Street in Hamilton, MA.  

Parking is limited.   If you would like to watch the start, be sure to be on Winthrop Street in Hamilton by 8:30AM on Saturday.  

Spectators can view the ongoing participants at Bradley Palmer State park at 40 Asbury St. between 9:30-10:30.  Volunteers will be at the enterance to guide you to where to park.

Course Map Instructions

#1. The start and finish is on Winthrop Street in Hamilton, MA. Spectator parking is available all along either side of Winthrop Street. However, you must arrive prior to 8:30 to park so that you are not still parking when the race starts at 9am!
The course will do a quick loop through Turner Hill Farm then return back onto the end of Winthrop Street for 100 yards then turn left into Bradley Palmer.
#2. Participants will travel 1/2 mile along the paved parking area in the Park. There will be 2 volunteers at the entrance to show you were to park to see the runners.
#4. The gate will be open for you to drive 3/4 mile into the park and see participants as they cross by the Bradley Palmer Kiddie pool and into the big field.
#5. The next time you will see the participants is on Mill Road in Ipswich. They will travel for 100 yards then enter back into the wood.
#6 The participants will travel along a trail just inside of Highland Street.
Finally, they will finish on Winthrop Street.
